It is very hard to say what the bump is without an exam.  If it is red and extremely painful, it could be a condition called scleritis, which is a rare inflammation.  Your glasses prescriptions should not be changing so rapidly.  Diabetes can cause a change in glasses power due to high sugar.  You should have a consultation at a university ophthalmology department.  You need a gonioscopy to check for narrow angles (unlikely at your age); another refraction, perhaps with cycloplegia to relax the eye muscles and obtain a true reading without accommodation; and an evaluation of the eye pain and lump.
