Clomid, low progesterone, but high BBT - Did I ovulate?

I am TTC - After a 0.9 progesterone level, I started my first cycle with Clomid. I consistently chart my CM and waking temps. Thru this charting, I had thought that the Clomid worked and I ovulated on day 18. I had my blood drawn on CD 21 and the result came back 3.3, so my doctor thinks I did not ovulate and we need to raise the dosage of Clomid. However, since CD 18, my waking temps have consistently been rising. Before Ovulation, I had temps of 97.2 or 97.3. Starting on CD 19 - 97.5, 97.1, 97.5, 97.7, 97.8, 97.7, 97.9, 97.9, 97.7, 98.1 and 98.1 (which is CD 30, still no period).

So - Did I ovulate or not? If I didn't ovulate, what would cause my temps to rise so much? Was the progesterone level drawn too soon? What would a normal progesterone level be before ovulation?

Thanks for whatever information you can offer! My doctor is out of the office for a while and isn't available to answer my questions.

My cutoff for ovulation is 3.0, so I think you may have ovulated. Sometimes ovulation is delayed on clomid, and this may be what is going on today. The way to know for sure is to repeat the progesterone. Having said that, if you have not ovulated this month, or ovulated but do not get pregnant, I would base the clomid dose on the repeat progesterone. I usually raise the clomid dose if progesterone levels are between 3-10 - I like to see them over 10 when on clomid.
