Hi!
His reports look fine. Here is a site that I often send people with questions about SA to:
http://www.ivf-infertility.com/infertility/investigations/male/semen.php
IUI does increase your odds. Typically, there is about a 20% conception rate per cycle, and IUI boosts that to about 24-25%. Costs are going to vary, but a wild guess would be about $800-1000 per cycle. Usually a sperm wash is about $500 and the procedure is also about $500.
Most doctors will try 3-4 cycles of IUI before referring for IVF. There are lots of "cost sharing" programs out there, especially if you are young and have no obvious fertility issues--so check out several IVF sites before giving up!
Good luck!
Dr B
I mean 124 million/ml and 74 million/ml
His first report showed 124 and second showed 74. we consulted two different urologoist.
they said his count and grdA motility is fine.but still ima not pregnant
In his counts you have 124, is that 1 hundred twenty four? and then 74 is that seventy four? Those are really low counts I believe. My DH has a low count and it is 2 million. Just clarifying on the #'s on the counts.
