Confused, cd37 18dpo no period

First round on clomid, I seemed to have ovulated 2 times this month. Took the OPK, it was positive on my usual CD11. On CD 13 or so, noticed I was drying up, but continued to test. On CD16, 17, &18, the test came out positive once again! This has never happened to me. So, apparently I ovulated twice and later than usual. I usually ovulate on CD9 or CD11. AND my cycles are between 24-26 days long. I am now on CD 36, 17DPO. I had what I thought was my period coming, watery brown blood on CD28. It felt like I was actually leaking, or peed on myself, so I put a pad on just knowing I had started. But after that, it stopped for the day. The following morning, I awoke to "feeling like I was leaking" again, and discovered watery brown blood, still thinking, it was going to start. That was it for the day as well. But ever since then, I've been feeling like "I'm leaking" this time just watery CM. CM is very stretchy, "fertile" consistency. I thought my bleeding was implantation bleeding. So I decided to test on CD33 14DPO, it was negative, but it WASN'T my morning urine. I'm so confused. My bb's ache, and I've been waking up nauseated for about 4-5 days. AND I've gained 5lbs overnight! I always gain this much when my period is due, but no period!

TOOK ANOTHER HPT TODAY, NEGATIVE!
Anyone else have this problem?! Please help!

I really appreciate your expertise. And thanks for getting back with me. It's so frustrating wondering what's wrong. My usual cycle, before clomid was between 24-26 days. I ovulated between days 9-11. My OPK's always showed a surge, but both lines were always faint. I've tried different brands and were all the same. But on Clomid, I surged on CD11, again, both faint lines. But on CD 16, 17, &18 they were very dark and prominent lines. So, do you think I did ovulate twice? AND, can I go ahead and try my natural progesterone cream to see what happens or is it best to get a Rx for it and consult my doctor?

Thank yo, Dr. Brown

Hi!
I have lots of people who write in and say that their OPKs are positive on CD 16. I'm not too sure what to make of it!
If Clomid works properly, you will always surge on CD 12 within a day or so, and ovulate on CD 13 or 14.  The period will then always come on cycle day 28. (this is if you took clomid on CD3-7)
It sounds like it didn't work this time around for you.
If you don't ovulate, you won't get a period.
If you were my patient, I would start you on some progesterone to start you period.
I would then follow you with ultrasounds through the next cycle to see how the follicles are developing.  I would then do a progesterone level on day 21 to be sure that ovulation occurred.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
