Dear Melissa 229 - are your periods regular when you are not on femara? If they are not regular, and you are not ovulating, then femara is a good choice. However if your periods are regular even without femara, then your chances of getting pregnant might be improved if intrauterine insemination is added to your treatment. Regarding urine ovulation prediction, if the femara is going to work to get you to ovulate, your ovulation is most likely to happen 7-10 days after your last femara. Since urine ovulation prediction kits turn positive 1-2 days before ovulation, the earliest to expect a positive urine ovulation prediction would be day 12, but it might not happen until day 15,16, or even 17. The cramping is normal. Femara usually, but not always, works and only time (and a positive ovulation prediction test, or a pregnancy, or a period) will tell. Good luck!

we are also getting close to our 3 year mark of ttc... I have never really had a problem with ovulating but am on Clomid right now to help with progesterone levels. I think everyone is different, but I usually get slight cramping around ovulation time... I think that's normal. I don't know about the stress affecting you - I do keep hearing it all the time tho - people tell me I'm not getting pg because I'm stressing about it too much... I don't know if there is any truth to that - I usually just ignore that as I don't think stress is affecting me and ttc. I wish I could tell you more, but I'm not familiar with the meds you are taking... hopefullly someone can help you better than I can.. Good luck!
I've head of Femara working for people when Clomid didn't. Are you doing OPKs several times a day. I've had a negative at 2 pm negative at 8 pm positive at 10 am and negative by 2 pm. So sometimes you've got a very narrow window. U might try testing 2x a day if you're not already.
