Exactly, lol ;-) Just depends on how i'm feeling any given day and what excites me (or incites me, hahaha).
You sounded like me in an e-mail I wrote you months ago. LOL ! Some days I just don't have the energy for it. Other days.... I'm ready to go and add my .002 cents worth and then some ! ; ^ )
Not sure...some just enjoy a good debate or heated discussion. Those types of blogs will result in just that.
I don't have the mental or physical energy to put into it. It's not beneficial for me as i've learned that others will pretty much turn to what they believe or want, despite what anyone else says. I am one of those who feels that some things are better left unsaid so I don't typically discuss politics, religion, or Oprah...lol.
Hope you are having a low-pain evening Angel.
I agree with you, on everything you said. Physicians are the first to point fingers, if I'm wrong so be it, but for the life of me I can not understand why anyone, especially a doctor who wrote what he did in that article. Was it written in fear of being upsurped by a "television host", or in fear of his own short comings? I know that I'm probably opening myself up to it again, but..........
gentle hugs to you
Angel
I was thinking last night about the insight that my illness has given me. I have learned so many things, thanks to my illness and to be honest with you.... I am grateful for that. I think my illness has also made me a better person.
My hope is that physicians won't judge Oprah because she chooses to interview people who are also sharing their insights and personal stories. We all have a story to tell and I think it is shameful that some people want to censor others. I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect some of this anger towards Oprah is not because she interviewed Jenny McCarthy but because of her religious beliefs and/or political beliefs.
You know it is funny because Robin McGraw (Dr. Phil's wife) had an entire show on bio-identical hormones and yet none of the MedHelp physicians or Newsweek is criticizing her. And thanks to bio-identical hormones, Robin is feeling great... so are some of her viewers who were on the show.
I'm not close-minded. I support whatever works !
Some people just aren't happy unless they are 'downing' someone else...I don't think being a physician means they are excluded. Freud may refer to it as Oprah envy? lol
I don't watch Oprah. I am just not that much into talk shows...however, I do watch "in your face" Steve Wilkos (because we have become a nation of pleasing everyone and slacking off on what's important...like rearing our children and self-discipline).
I did read the post...I feel that some just want to blow off steam or get into a heated debate, when it's simple really. Just like those "You've Seen It On TV" ads...if someone wants to jump and purchase something believing that it works, that is their choice. I don't think that anyone that this particular doc. mentioned are ignorant people...they all are doing what they believe in and there's nothing wrong with that. What's that saying? "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything." A few have as much as, or more education than he does. Unfortunately, schooling educates from pre-designed books; they teach nothing about the cover-ups or errs of pharmaceuticals nor the reality of events that cause them. The world is waking up...and they aren't happy with being lied to.
I didn't agree with Dr. Gorski's comments either. And now we know what some of us are up against ! ; ^) But we can choose physicians like Dr. OZ who have a passion for learning and keeping up to date on the latest research or we can choose other physicians.
