I guess it's the same here, either you're sick enough to be hospitalized or you get treated like everyone else, there's nothing in between.
in your case you should do Day Hospital and do all the required tests in a couple of weeks.
have you been tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis and autoimmune diseases? Complete Blood Count and Sedimentation Rate? calcium, vitamins levels. Electromyogram to the legs. have you done all that?
well good luck... !
Yes. A hospital said it started in my knee caps and now since I'm have issues with getting around I haven't been able to keep up with all my doctors appts. I'm goin to be movin back down south near my family cause pittsburgh and there servcies don't really help people in need. But its all this pain and being so sleepy and weak that drives me crazy.
what is pcp stand for?
did they check calcium levels in blood?
you had x-ray to the knees they found arthritis? bone has reduced?
The hospitals and the doctors I do have. My pcp. They say my bones are going away in my knees. And I have nerve damge. That's y I loose feelings in my legs and can't walk
you should see a Neurologist if you haven't already.
EMG to the legs is the first test you need. Electromyogram.
full auto-immune work up. MRI brain/spine.
who said your bones are getting weak and how do they know?
Thanks for everyone that has messaged me. Tonite my legs are weak arms its like I'm made out of rubber. But no doctors know y this happens to me. But its sad that my boyfriend has to help me walk. They said that my bones are getting very weak that's y they give but its there a way to fix a 27 year old woman with three kids. I want to run with them again what is happening to me
Fibro would not cause your knees to go out. Have you been seen by an orthopedic? Any x-rays, MRI done on your knees.
Fibro in my opinion is not a disease but rather a condition that makes people sensitive to pain no matter what.
True a lot of pain can be attributed to a stressful life, depression, being over weight, or just plain have sensitive nerves, even being inactive can cause pain
Have you talked to your doctor? Are you on any medications? There are too many symptoms that people say is related to fibro, but in reality many of the symptoms the average person will have, it is just handled different by many.
Make an appointment with your doctor.
Hey Mary,
Your Fibromyalgia diagnosis my dear, is a consequence of deep rooted causes. Take a look at your life objectively. You will find some emotional trauma, perhaps from abuse or other devastating event.
Your difficulty to walk up the hills in Pittsburg, represents your outlook of your life: It's all uphill!
Your own situation is wearing you down mentally and emotionally, so your physical health follows suit. Pain, fatigue, discomfort, all associated with
aging. No wonder you feel this way at this young age.
(Your chosen words in your post are not random! They are not even a product of your conscious thinking, but a result of your unconscious mind,
doing all that at less than a second before the conscious mind becomes aware of it!)
Medical advice, will not help much, unless you CAN HEAL YOUR LIFE!
I took the liberty to speak openly and directly, as it is important to face the truth, which I know hurts a lot, yet once accepted and digested, opens the door to healing your psyche.
There are many things you can do.
For starters, I would suggest you find a support group in your area.
There's no cost and you will meet many people, who are going through or have gone through many similar difficulties in their lives.
Pm me anytime.
Take care,
Niko
severe weakness in the legs isn't a specific symptoms of Fibro.
why would you be happy with the diagnosis of an incurable "disease" anyways.
what are your symptoms? are your arms weak too?
how would you describe the weakness in the legs, how does it feel when you walk down the stairs?
what tests have they run on you?
