Strange... hole?

Well... I've had this spot on my foot for a few years now, and its like... a hole... with really rough skin around it and inside the rough skin are little spots of like... black or brown. Its on my left foot, right in the middle of that area. It used to hurt quite a lot, but it doesn't anymore. Im just afraid if I don't treat it eventually, it will just get worse. Im not sure what to call it either, I've never seen anything quite like it... I wanted to google it, but had nothing to go on. So any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

it sounds like it may be a plantar's wart or a hemmorhagic callus (callus that caused the underlying tissue to bleed due to the pressure)
i would go to a podiatrist to have the area shaved and evaluated.  at the very least, having it shaved will give you lots of relief.

You have plantars wart most likely.  One way to test is to pinch it to see if it hurts.  Side to side pressure hurts but direct downward pressure doesn't.  It can be removed.  Topical over the counter treatments rarely work on the type of wart you are describing.
