Post Nissen Fundoplication

I had a Nissen Fundolication 3 months ago. Since then I have had problems eating and can only eat about six mouths full before I start wanting to bring it back up again, as I feel it is backing up my throat. I have lost 1 1/2 stone. My Uvula and throat is always sore (my Gp has suggested it is the reflux causing it) and I usually get hiccups when I am eating. When I am lying flat my reflux is back. My surgeon has asked me to have another Manometry with a view to reversing it or stretching it. This he says he has not done before. Is this an easy operation and is there anyone out there that has had similar problems?

Hi,
This could be a failed Nissen's fundoplication.
Manometry may be done for confirmation.  It is a simple procedure.
A second surgery for failed Nissen's has the same risk factors as the first one.
