Lipase levels needing a contrast CT of the abdomen

Hello,
My husband is a diabetic now under control but currently blood tests show elevated triglycerides and a very slightly elevated lipase from pancreas. It is 63 U/L where normal range is 0-53U/L. His doc has been asking for him to have a contrast CT. I would like to know if anybody has had similar experience as i believe t could be due to the elevated triglycerides and doesnt demand a procedure like contrast Ct which has its risks too. Please comment.
