distal oesophagitis

i did an endoscopy and the results were as follows

[1] distal oesophagitis grade A [LA classification].
[2] mild alkaline gastritis.

what is that exactly and should i be worried.

It sounds like you're refluxing bile into the stomach and the esophagus. Discuss the finding of the alkalinity with your doc. This does not sound like acid reflux, so acid reduction medication won't be of much help.
