When I had my appendix removed I had really severe pain in my Mid abdomen for a day, but by the time I got to the doctor the next morning it was localized to the Right Lower Quandrant.  There are other reasons for RLQ pain, but I would definitely see a doctor if the pain gets really bad. By the time my mom took me to the doctor (I was 15 at the time) I could barely get in the car, move, drive over bumps, it was very painful and can be very dangerous!! Get it chk'd if it persists or get really bad. My mom just thought it was a stomach flu so she didn't take me until it almost burst.

yes it could. See a Dr. right away. All they have to do is a blood test and you will know.
