After effects of mono?

My daughter had mono 2 yrs ago. She still struggles with depression, extreme tiredness at random times. Is this normal? She is taking vitamins, eating healthy, exercising 3 times a week and taking anti depressants. She is also having random headaches that trigger her lying down unable to respond but can hear people talking to her. We have ruled out seizures and diabetes.

I hope your daughter's health improves.  It makes us hurt so bad to see our babies in pain.

We had tried this before, but I don't think for a long enough time frame, so we will try it again.  God bless you for taking the time to post this note.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.  Blessings!

Sometimes migraine headaches can be helped with Calcium, CoQ10 and Vitamin B6.  Could be that our blood vessels need these nutrients/elements to function properly.  - My youngest daughter also had mono and finally began living a "normal" life after some years of depression and headaches, malaise, etc.  For some, a good multiple vitamin/mineral supplement helps.  I hope that they will help you also.

My daughter has had chronic migraines for 3 years after being diagnosed with mono.  She is always tired and I think depressed.  She has seen 25 Dr.'s with no avail, taking every kind of drug imaginable. I am constantly looking and reading about every article on migraines to try to find an answer for her.  It is so hard to sit and watch your child suffer like this.  She can not go to school and a lot of the day is spent in her room (dark and quiet) alone.  This is no way for a 16 year old to live her life.  She should be enjoying High School and hanging out with friends and working, but she's not.  Any advise or comments?

Her headaches also sound very much like "cluster" headaches or migraines.
