8 year old granddaughter

My 8 year old granddaughter suddenly is very standoffish with me.  We have always been best buds.  We live very close and are actively involved with the grandkids almost daily.  She has always wanted to be with me, at our house, spending the night most weekends.  We cooked together, did projects etc.  When ever I would drop her off she would have to give me several hugs/kisses.  A few months ago I noticed she didnt ask to spend the night, didnt want to do things and was increasingly attached to her mom.  She was at my house and her Dad came to pick her up, she walked out the door without a goodbye, so I said can I have a hug/kiss....she looked at me and said "maybe tomorrow"  I was hurt but said ok...we have...had a ritual.  She would say I love you, I would say I love you more...she would say I love you four.  She rarely say I love you any more.  I cant think what I have done to change our relationship.  Anyone else experience this?
