Having a thick endometrial lining- Does this means that you are infertile? Or that you can not carry a child?
Could an IUD removal cause all of this? It was removed Feb. 26th and I had a normal period Feb 28th. Havent had a period since and all the symptoms began occuring around end of March. I have seen my OB/GYN and she acts like its not a big deal and wants to put me on Provera........
I just wanted to add that I have also been having many pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, being very tired, sore boobs (with very very light milk) and cramping. I have been pregnant before so know what to expect--my midwife just said I need to start something to start my period (I think Provera) and my growing stomach is due to my lining being so thick. Does this sound right?
Hello,
A thickened endometrial stripe will not make one appear pregnant To give you some frame of reference, a thickened endometrial stripe might be considered at width of >15mm in a pre-menopausal woman. This does not affect the overall size of the uterus and thus would not mimick pregnancy. You should probably see an ob/gyn to be evaluated for why you are amenorrheic.
