Hello,
You need to be evaulated for irregular bleeding and its potential causes. If you can't be seen by your physician find another, or present to an ED if your bleeding becomes significantly heavy.
Sorry for your difficulties.
Dr. Downing
I'd find a new gyn doc. I did that a lot but kept ignoring it because I thought it was just me. I didn't have my tubes tied until my child was 5 but I bleed for 2-3 weeks at a time after doing it. Then I'd be off for 1 week and be back on again.I put up with it for 3 years. I would be cautious of any doc that had a waiting list that long.
My doc treated it with birthcontrol (I know...even with my tubes tied) and hormone creams when the pills didn't work. Long story short...one of my clamps came off my tube and was in my uterine wall. I was scheduled for an endometrial abalation, d&c & laproscopy when they found it. no problems now. not even a period. I'm sure your gyn is an ob also. I've found that it speeds up the process if you switch to one that is strickly gyn.
