I am 18 days late, had hpt for 4x last was 2 days ago all results were negative. I had intercourse with my husband last night and in the morning when I wiped i have mucous like discharges associated with slight blood. I have those symptoms of pregnancy etc. Im on 30 MC.

Do you think it's possible I can be still pregnant inspite of the slight bleeding came today morning?

Thank you and goodluck to all wannabe mom.....(including me)

Hello,

Menstrual irregularities can occur at various times of the cycle for various reasons.  it is often difficult in the immediate moment to know the underlying cause.  It is usually the case that with the benefit of time, and having the opportunity to observe patterns, similarities, etc, irregular bleeding can be sorted out.  Keep a menstrual diary for the next 2-3 months documenting the days you bleed/spot and how much (# of pads/tampons used) and present that to your physician if an irregular pattern persists.

Best of luck,

Dr. Downing

Your post doesn't have enough information so that we can give a thoughtful response to it.  Like what is your age range, are you on BCP, are you sexually active, do you feel any swelling or hard lumps when you wipe?   Do you have an ob/gyn that you can give a call to?  If this forum is your only "medical insurance", can you give us more info?
