Hello, I read that you are a Gyn assistant,

May I ask you an information?

I had a MC on 02/13/2011, I got a heavy bleeding that night, and got my 2nd D&C, I stayed 2 days at the hospital for recovery.

I had no problem in the beginning, only a light spot for 2 days, and a little cramp. But I start to feel a pain in my left lower abdomin after 2 weeks of my D&C until now. The pain is come and go. It's almost 1 month now, but I still have this pain. I'm tired dealing with this pain. I had ask my obgyn, and he said nothing to worry as I don't have any fever. I feel hurt when I push my left stomach.

Could you please help me, what's going on with me? I also had 2 D&C's within 6 month span, could this affect my uterine health? I should had my 1st and 2nd D&C's in urgent condition, I had a heavy bleeding. For my 2nd D&C, I was bleeding until I was in critical condition.

Please help me.
Thank you

Hi!
I think it sounds like folliculitis.  This is a common condition in which hair follicles become infected, often caused by shaving.  If so, it will go away on its own.  If it does get larger, become red or hot to the touch, it may mean that the infection has spread and you should be seen by your doctor at that point.
Good luck!

I  work at a clinic named "BMS" in Brooklyn NY(gyn assistant) and women who came in for the same problem had "SYPHILLIS" It's a hard(sometimes painless sore, depending on how long you've had it) that grows either on the vaginal area, or above the vaginal area. Yes we do get hair bumps after a shave, but the hair bumps are not hard ( but very slightly irritating, "NOT PAINFUL).  Penicillin will cure it. so don't say your 100% sure your ok, especially if you didn't post that you were tested for std's. And If that is not the case("IF") then stop using unclean razors. change your razor after each shave. do not shave ur arm pits, and vagina with the same razor.
