I had sex with an escort on 6/14. The vaginal sex was protected, but I received unprotected oral sex for quite a long time. When I got home I noticed an open, slightly bleeding sore on the underside of my penis. Not sure how it got there, what it was, probably just from friction, but i guess i could unknowingly have herpes or something else, it was a small round sore, looked like a popped blister. In any case, I dismissed it, but now 6 days later I have a slight fever and a very sore throat. I don't ever get sick and have not interacted with anyone besides my boss, who is healthy, in the last week.
Is it at all possible to contract HIV or another blood borne disease through the open cut that I had? I know that normally oral is not a high risk act, however, due to the open cut and the roughness of the fellatio, as well as my current illness, i am quite concerned. If not, maybe you could elaborate a bit to ease my anxiety. Also, I received oral prior to putting on the protection and having vaginal sex, as well as after the sex, and ejaculated in her mouth. Is it worth getting an early screening test, or not necessary? Please advise and thank you very much. -C
