Hi,
Just want to thank you all for your support. I did 92 days ELISA 4th generation and came negative. I discussed with the doctor and she said it is conclusive.
I am posting this to help people like me suffering from anxiety. Also to remind that please never repeat mistake in their life. I have learnt my lesson.
Thank you all
That is not relevant to your situation- at 81 days the rapid tests are 100% accurate. Please stay off of HIV forums and accept that you are HIV negative. You're only going to fuel your anxiety if you keep reading up on HIV on the internet,

Hi Joggen and others,
I was just reading online yesterday. I came across some comments from Dr. H and some other people on rapid test reliability. I am worried from that moment. Is it true that rapid test on blood is not as effective as ELISA lab test.
Please need help. Is it true that rapid tests give more false negative in window period?
Thanks you all in advance.
As JC already told you, you didn't need further testing- you were already at 100% accuracy with the combination of tests that you took. And rest assured that an 81 day antibody test is conclusive on its own- a few days shy of three months doesn't make one iota of difference. In short, further testing is just beating a dead horse- it's time to put your CSW experience in the past where it belongs. You are HIV NEGATIVE.
Hi,
I got a rapid test at 81 days. The results are negative. Just wanted to share this with you all.
Should I test again at 90 days?
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the answer. It actually helped at lot. I am suprised that anxiety can cause these symptoms.
I am very scared.
Thanks for the help. God bless you.
Your repeated NEGATIVE HIV tests prove you are HIV NEGATIVE.
NO, we do NOT see prople seroconverting or experiencing ARS 9 Weeks post-exposure. It does NOT happen and you are NOT the exception( especially with a NEGATIVE test result). You did NOTinfect your fiancee with HIV, you could NOT have because you are NOT HIV POSITIVE. FYI: HIV is NOT transmitted via your acts with your fiancee in the real world .Whatever has caused your symptoms, it certainly is NOT HIV. No symptom you have described would cause me to suspect HIV(especially with your NEGATIVE HIV result) . Believe the science, not your opinions or emotions. The tests do NOT lie.
Alcohol use is notarious for causing diarrhea, so are hundreds of other things such as ANXIETY.
