HIV anxiety Help Me !
Hello everyone i will try and make it short and simple i had sex about 7 or 8 years ago i was drunk and so was she anyway we had sex i wish i never but there you are, i have never seen the girl again after that stupid night and only about 3 months ago i found the curage to get tested for HIV and it came bk negative but my question is,because its been such a long time since it happend are the HIV test still accurate and will they pick up antibodys in my blood i mean its been 8 years so does the antibodys stop producing after a certain time, and i got a standard blood test so do they check for HIV1 and HIV2 or does it just check for HIV1 because im worried that i might of got HIV2 from here i hope some replys

Yes, the test would be accurate, even after 7 or 8 years. You don't have HIV.
