Condom broke during anal insertive

Hi Doc,
3 days ago i hooked up with stripper in Denmark. The stripper was from Hungary though. She gave me some unprotected oralsex after which i put on a condom, and we had both vaginal and anal intercourse. After i came i realized that the condom had broken during the sex, and became very scared, so i asked her if she had been tested. She said she had been tested, but that it was over a year ago, but that she had, had and boyfriend up until 6 months before, and she had just had breast operations, so she hadn't had sex for 3 months. I thought i came during the anal intercourse, but she said it was vaginal, and that it was because she was so tight that i thought it was anal. I dont know if anything of what she said was true.
The day after all this i called the nearest hospital, and asked them if i could be considered for PEP-treatment, and they said that because there was under 0,5 % risk i couldn't get PEP (in Denmark we have free healthcare, so the doctors decide, if it is reasonable to get the treatmeant). She said the risk was if the status was unknown. I am going to go get tested in 2 days ( 5 days after exposure) and again at 28 days of exposure since they use the duo, at all public testing facilities.
What do you think of the risk that i have acquired HIV, and what do you think of the answer the doctors gave me? Are the stats corresponding to the stats you have?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post.
Becuase it was unprotected penetration, there was certainly a riks of HIV to you.  However this is risk is considered to be very low in this case, as it was penetrative vaginal and oral with a woman of unknown status.  Statistically it is more likely that she is negative, rather than positive, and even if she was positive, the risk for you would have been less than 0.1% (1 in 1,000).  Not known the status, the risk would be much lower.  Therefore the decision of not recommending PEP was correct.
There is no doubt that you need testing for your peace of mind.  You could have a PCR RNA test after 10 days or a HIV Duo after 28 days.
Best wishes,
Dr José

I guess that the condom could have broke during vaginal only, because the stripper said that we only had anal sex once, and i reckon she knows best. But i am not sure, since we were both drunk.
