this is a link to the test i used if you could please have a look and tell me what you think

thats what i thought
but it is roughly the same as the insti one you mention with a control line and a test line that only appears if it is reactive
looks for all purposes like a pregnancy test and the company that makes it ACON seems to be a reputable company
i bought it off a site called easykit.info
i hope it is the end of it as it has been buging me for 8 months now and i would love to just get on with my life
dont you know anything about the safescreen company that makes the other ones in the uk
kind regards
thankyou
Hi there,
You are indeed right to say that your HIV risk from this encounter was relatively low. As you do not know he status of this lady in Singapore, the risk would be even lower, even if she was a sex worker as statistically most individuals are negative. But assuming that she was positive, your risk would be less than 0.1% or less than 1 in 1,000 from a single unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse. Because of this I would agree with the results of the negative rapid tests that you purchased. I cannot comment on a test I do not particularly use or know about and that is not licensed in the UK. However if this test is similar to the Insti by Biolytical, a negative result at 3 months would be more than final, conclusive and reliable.
Best wishes,
Dr Jose
