loss of condom follow up test,

Dear Doctor,

sorry to bother you again. But just this last question. As stated in my recent post I had 1.HIV1 RNA  test 2.HIV proviral DNA blood by PCR 3.HIV p24 antigen detection serum 4.HIV-DUO (serum) by CMIA ( 4th generation test).. at exactly 15 days from a risky exposure.

All my above test have come completely negative. And just since yesterday i am experiencing sore throat. So should I worry and get tested again or Its just due to some other reason and I should not worry about HIV.Sorry to ask you again as you had made it very clear that i dont need anymore test in your last reply. But i cant stop thinking about it since last morning as i had sore throat.

Please reply soon.

Hello again,
I am sure that this is not the firat time ever that you have had a sore throat, and it will not be the last one.  Sore throats are common and one should never think of HIV as the first cause.  I believe that you do not need to worry about HIV; you have had plenty of negative test results, many of them highly sensitive and reliable very early on; your ensounter was low risk as well.  Therefore I do not think that you need to worry about HIV or even consider having any more tests.
Best wishes,
Dr Jose

hi doc
i had vaginal sex with a girl i dont kno. After ten minutes of sex i pulled out and the condom was broken.  Most likeley it was broken for most of the time spent having sex.  I then put another one on and we did it again right after. But then I fell asleep with the secound condom on and woke up with it on.  Does having the condom on all night higher my risk of HiV from the first exposure?
