Dear Jack,
I think HIV is an impossibility from the encounter you describe. There is no reason to belive that she was HIV positive in the first place; even if she was you had protected sex; being sucked will NOT expose you to HIV infection.
You clearly have a situation with sinuses and so on and I am very sure that your ENT doctor is looking after you correctly. It seems extremely likely to me that your neck symptoms etc are related to that.
I think HIV is completely impossible in these circumstances.
very best regards, Sean
Morning Jack...as Sean has said, HIV is simply impossible in the circumstances you have outlined....but, HIV is generally not detected by antibody testing at 2 weeks. It may be by using combined methods of antibody and also p24 antigen in a fourth generation HIV DUO test or will be using a PCR RNA test......but not reliably by antibody testing alone.Mervyn
Thanks for your reply. I just had all HIV and STD test come negative at 2weeks. I understand I have no riskof infection. But I was wondering how effective is the test at 2 weeks. Do most people detect HIV by 2 weeks or not?
