Welcome to the forum.
Neither HIV nor any other STD can be transmitted by the sort of touching you describe. HIV and STDs are not transmitted by hand genital contact, and whatever hypothetical risk might exist would be further reduced by the dilution of shower water, especially if any soap were involved. Even if your partner was infected, you could not have caught anything.
So no worries, no need for testing, and if you have a regular partner, you can safely continue unprotected sex without risk.
I hope this has helped. Best wishes-- HHH, MD
Ok, Doc thanks. Actually, I understand all this stuff around and at the end passing test was still good idea since I didnt test for 3 years from my last "risky" event. So I will keep going and try to struggle the feel of being guilty even if nothing wrong (except standing under shower and touching not my wife vagina) happened.
You're asking a question about psychology. The best we can do is provide facts and statistics. The rest is up to you. If you can't shake the fear, counseling may be in order -- but that's the best I can do.
Doc, just in case I passed 4gen test after 30 days of this event (HIV Ag/Ab Combo Abbott ARCHITECT ) and it came negative.
Actually, as lots of people here, I understand by brain and by heart that my event was almost zero risk and my test is conclusive, but sometimes (not very often) the feare of "something went wrong" returns to me. How could you recommend to stop feeling fear of getting HIV?
