Dr. EDWARD W Hook, MD, Please help me

Dear Doctor,

According to the rule, I know this is my last question within 6 month. But I have to ask again about my last question. I was so worried that I couldn't move on. Before this accident, I don't care about HIV, and my life was easy and peace. But since then, I feel woories for many things about HIV. I worred about so many things. For example, with a wound in my hand, I touch some blood or secretion in the toilet. Or Wipe my anus with my dirty hand whitch have touched the secretion in the toilet.

Most of the question, I can find the answer in this forum, So I want to say thank you to you ,for both experts's good work in this forum.  In my last quetion, the elaps time between our injury is my estimate, I think it may more shorter than what I have estimated, not 8-10 minutes, maybe under 5 minutes. I don't check the time in swatch. I still have the same doubt in my last question. Can you help me and answer my question directly.

If one sharp object in the environment scratch someone, and left some blood with small piece of tissue from him, Can the virus live well in the small tissue? Or it is the same to the virus live in  the blood? Once it contact with the air and the environment, it begins to die,and becomes non-infectious immediately?  Does it make any difference?

Dear Doctor,

Thank you very much. I know both you are very famous expert in this field.

Can I think that If I want to be free from HIV, all I need to do is the two things. Any other exposure in the life, such as Hurt by some sharp object in the environment, or contact blood in the environment even with a wound in my body, won't cause infectious. Nobody in the world was infected by this way. Is my comprehension right?

Dr. Hook terminated your previous thread because you were unwilling or unable to accept his scientific judgment and advice.  That was not an invitation to start a new thread.

It does not matter whether or not HIV can survive for a few minutes outside the body.  The important thing is that nobody in the world ever was infected with HIV from the kinds of exposures you are worried about.  You are not going to be the first.  To be free of HIV, all you need to do is be safe sexually and not share drug injection equipment with other people.  Stop worrying about other kinds of exposure.

There will be no further discussion.  Any other comments will be deleted without reply.
