HIV scared

Hello Doctor

8 days ago i visited an erotic massage parlor, after the massage the masseuse proceded to put on a condom on me got on top of me and we had sex for about 3-4 minutes i ejaculated in the condom and when she proceeded to get off of me at the same time,  the condom slip im pretty sure i was already out when it slip or it partially stayed in her i'm not sure i told her i was sorry, she told me not to worry about it thatshe had the condom and she didn't seem worried at all.

Ever since that episode im really scared that i was expose to HIV i don't seem to have any symptoms but that does reassure me.

What are the chances of getting hiv from this episode?  should i get tested? is this considered high risk?

I've been reading alot since it happened and my anxiaty is really high...

Thanks for your help

It sounds like you have a cold.  These are not HIV symptoms.  As I told you, there is no risk of HIV from the activities you describe. EWH

Welcome to our Forum.  As I understand your post, as your partner got off of you the condom remained behind, staying in her. If this was the case, you were still well protected against HIV and the condom would have done its job of protecting you.

Even if you had not used a condom, your risk of getting HIV would still be quite low.  I say this because few commercial sex workers have HIV and if your partner did, a single exposure to an HIV infected partner leads to transmission only once in every 1000 sex acts.

I would not worry.  I see no need for testing related to this exposure. EWH
