Welcome to our Forum. I'll be pleased to comment. The exposure you describe is very low risk for HIV. Masturbation ("fingering") is a no risk event for HIV and the risk for acquiring HIV from performing oral sex if your partner had HIV (and statistically this is unlikely) is very low- less than 1 infection in 10,000 exposures. Now, your DUO test has provided conclusive data that you were not infected. Because they combine an HIV p24 antigen test and HIV antibody test, DUO tests provide conclusive results on possible infections at 4 weeks following exposure. there is no reason for further testing.
I hope this comment is helpful. EWH
Final answer. No, the antihistamine would not effect your test results. This ends this thread. EWH
Doctor Hook could you please answer my last q?
Thank you. Only thing i forgot to ask. Does xozal which is an antihistamine pill affect the test accuracy and window period?
The nature of the exposure does not change the performance of the test. No change in my answer. Take care. EWH
Thank you Sir. I am just planning to test again at 6 weeks just to follow the UK guidlines on this type of test.
Last query and pleasefeel free to end the thread.
Would you advise the same even in a high risk situation? Can i resume unprotected sex with my wife?
Thanks this is my last comment
