And by the way, stop searching the web about it. It seems you are being selectively drawn to information that is inflaming your worries and not absorbing the reassuring bits. Just go on with your life without worry.
1) People have claimed to have caught HIV despite using condoms, but most were not telling the truth; or they didn't catch the virus from the partner they thought; or the condom broke and they didn't know it. There has never been a proved case of HIV transmission with an intact, properly used condom.
2) Based on this exposure and its low risk, there is no need for HIV testing. But if you need to have a negative result for reassurance -- that is, if my words are not enough -- of course you are free to be tested. But the standard advice is to not get tested after any single exposure, unless it is particularly high risk (e.g., unprotected sex with a known infected partner). A better plan is that if you continue to have commercial sex exposures from time to time, you have an HIV test once a year or so and stop worrying about the individual events.
3) Symptoms are completely unreliable in judging whether or not someone has a new HIV infection. Don't worry about it. Even if you develop "typical" HIV symptoms, and no matter when they happen, HIV will not be the cause.
1- The story of my sexual adventure is i never had unprotected sex in my life .....so from what your saying there have never been reported cases of someone infected by HIV despite using condemns??
2- regardless my fears and my worries ... if you were my doctor would u recommend HIV testing for me???
3- in some other sites i read that symptoms will start after 4-6 weeks but here i see ur saying 1-2 weeks
Welcome to the forum.
STDs and HIV appear to be rare in people exposed to sex work in middle eastern countries. I'm not aware of data for Bahrain, but the risk is very low in UAR and Dubai -- where few if any sex workers is believed to have HIV, even if they originated in places like Russia or eastern Europe. But even if one of your partners was infected, there was no risk; HIV and STDs are never transmitted by fingering or other hand-genital, regardless of cuts on the fingers.
Even the most typical symptoms for acute HIV infection are usually caused by other things, and I'm not at all concerned that your symptoms are due to HIV. But if you remain worried, see a doctor (and give the full story of your sexual adventures). You could be tested for reassurance if it would help reduce your anxieties about these events.
