Thank you Dr.
I think I need that 13 week test to move on. This one is an ELISA 3 rd gen done by the hospital but I won't find out until the end of this week.
I will post with my results
Welcome back to the Forum. I note that this is your third question on this Forum in less than 3 months. We ask clients to not post more than twice in any six month period. I will briefly address your question a single time, particularly as all that I will be telling you basically repeats what Dr. Handsfield told you just a few weeks ago, and that will conclude this thread.
You need to believe your test results, Dr. Handsfield has already told you that the exposures you listed did not put you at meaningful risk for HIV and that you did not need testing but, since you had already tested (repeatedly using different tests) you should accept the results as further proof that you were not infected. Despite that you have kept testing and guess what, the tests are still negative- no surprise there. It is time for you to understand and accept the fact that you did not get HIV from the exposures you have described and stop testing for HIV. It is a waste of time and energy and it appears from looking at many of your nearly 50 interactions on various forums that that energy would be well spent addressing your anxieties.
I hope this comment is helpful I only wish the best for you and continuing to worry that you might have gotten HIV from what was a virtually no risk exposure is not in your best interest. EWH
