As I said, you do not have HIV. further testing, including a PCR is a waste of time. EWH
Thank you doctor...it's time for me move for me and live a happy life...i was younger and foolish without no knowledge of STDs at that day.. its hard to go find another partner after the stress i've been thru .for almost 5 years after that incident i never been with anybody else. never got involved in another sexual intercourse. perhaps i should ask my next date to get a PCR test done before we do anything that'll cause another series of unfortunate years of living in fear and stress.
HIV has NEVER been spread by kissing of any sort, with or without mouth sores, dental or gum diseases, etc. You cannot get HIV from kissing of any sort- even if the other person has blood in their mouth. EWH
yeah i think your safe id say it cant be spread through that mine was defo salvia and due to symptoms ive had he must have had blood in is mouth the nutter as made my life hell this last year
the kind of kiss i performed was on lips for 3 times each time less than 2 seconds..its been 5 weeks now and i never had any of those except for the headache ..i can't really ask that girl to get checked for HIV because we kissed each other on lips.if HIV can transmit thru a simple kiss then world is in deep ****.
they say kissing is safe but im in the same situation i was grabbed and kissed by a man whos status was unknown and i became really ill hiv never entered my head till i typed in oral thrush there was no other contact with this man i got tested in jan neg june neg and august negative all 4th generation tests and an insti test in sept again negative but i still have a mouth problem and headaches and go dizzy
Oh i totally forgot to mention doctor..but not long ago about 5 weeks maybe i kissed a girl on lips..not french style or deep kiss but still i think some of her saliva got into my mouth.. and we both drank alcoholic drink before the kiss.. i'm asking this because i have a bad tooth thats bleeding all the time and unfortunately we both used toothbrush 2 hours before the incident..that probably have caused some cuts on our gums... how risky is the situation.?
if this next question requires another payment i'l gladly do it..
with high regards..
thanks for your great answers doctor ..believe it or not your answers helped me even more to ease my worried mind. But i'm still going for another blood test and this time for both HIV and HBV since i haven't take the hbv vaccine yet, maybe i had contacted hbv from that intercourse i had back then..just to make sure for the last time..and if i wasn't sure again i'll go writing about my condition in a mental health forum instead of here.
Welcome to the Forum. Your English is fine. I'll be pleased to comment on your questions. For your information, most of the information you receive on the Community sites is highly reliable. The nature of these sites however is such that as non-physicians, they must report "official" recommendations so, when they make statements that differ from ours, they are reporting on recommendations which may be a bit more conservative than what Dr. Handsfield and I report. The folks who work on our Community sites are highly informed and an excellent source of information.
Now, on to your questions:
1. Your results are conclusive. The most widely used tests for HIV test for antibodies to the virus and are completely reliable at any time more than 8 weeks following an exposure. you have been tested more than once and can believe your results- you did not get HIV from the exposures you mentioned.
2. Neither hepatitis B or HIV have ever been transmitted on a comb. I would not worry about getting HIV in this way.
I hope these comments are helpful. Nothing you mention raises any concern for HIV. EWH
