Dear Doctor,
You deleted my question, but I am most concerned now about my wife and her pregnancy. Is there any tiny risk? If needed I can pay again for your advise.
Sincerely
Dear Doctor Hook,
I hope you can answer this question about the symptoms I have. I would never come back to this thread, but the symptoms I have now worry me.
It is the 6th week from the encounter I mentioned in this thread. Since four days I have a bit of sore throat. No fever. No running nose, but some uncomfortable nasal discharge I feel in my nose. These are quite unusual symptoms; normally if I catch cold I have much more pain in my throat and running nose after.
Today I had diarrhea one time. Earlier last week I also had diarrhea once. The frequency is also quite unusual for me. And I normally have none when I catch cold.
Do you think that I need to test for HIV?
I beg you not to delete this question but instead to give it a serious consideration. My wife thinks that she is pregnant now (all tests show that but we are waiting for the ultrasound test) and the pregnancy happened AFTER the incident. I trusted you and other people on this site who told me that I had nothing to worry and could sleep with my wife.
Sincerely
Dear Doctor, would you be so kind to reply?
Again, no, you would know it if you were stuck with a needle, even if it occurred during an orgasm.
This will end this thread. there will be no further answers to these anxiety-driven questions. EWH
Dear Doctor,
If I may the last question in this thread. Could the moment of orgazm screen the pain of the needle stick?
I will try to calm myself down. Again, thank you for your patience and time.
Regards
No, nothing you have mentioned indicates that you are at risk for HIV. You need to stop worrying. EWH
Thank you Doctor,
Indeed, I have not noticed an injection... I guess it is my imagination because of the fears. Is there any other way the hiv might have been transmitted?
Welcome back to the Forum. There are no STDs, including HIV which are transmitted by masturbation, with or without a condom on. The exposure that you describe did not put you at risk. There is no need for concern and no need for testing.
Your fears about this person purposefully infecting you with a needle are groundless. If this person had stuck you with a needle, you would know it.
To summarize, you have no reason to worry. EWH
Sorry, I mean purposely not porously.
