dear dr
yesterday i ordered stake from a resturant. they give you a bone (with bone marrow) in it on the side. i tasted some of it but saw blood on it . not sure if its from the animal or the wIter especially since the waited had a cut with a bandade on his finger
do i test ? is it a moee of transmiton v

Your OCD is getting best of you. There is no need for concern and no need for testing.  It is most probably that the blood was from the meat, not a human.  If it was from a human, it is unlikely that the human had HIV and finally and most importantly, even if it was human, HIV infected blood, there is no risk from swallowing infected blood.

Again, no risk, no need for testing.  EWH
