Assasement Of HIV Risk

Day 1 - Had protected oral and vaginal sex with CSW in Western Europe.  Before we started she had me clean my entire gential area as she did the same.  We had protected oal and vaginal off and on for 1 hour.  Anytime we had vaginal sex, she changed to a new condomn before she began oral again.  She was from Budapest, Hugary working in Spain.  I am a heterosexual male.
Day 2 - Loss Of Appetite, Stomach pains, frequent urination, pain after urination at the tip of my penis, and not sleeping alot.   Day 3 - Extreme muscle weakness in my legs, dry mouth, dry lips   Day 4 - Went to the hospital in Barcelona - They could find nothing wrong - mainly looking for prostate issues   Day 11 - Went to see my GP - She thought I had a break out of HSV1 - Also tested for HSV2 (Negative)   Day 13 - Went to see a urologist as I was still having pain after urination.  Urologist found microscopic blood in my urine.  He also proscribed me Augmentin (I took this for 5 days but had diarreah from it and he had me stop).   Day 20 - Went back to urologist and this time he found blood and protein in my urine.
Day 23 - Went back to see GP - Nothing has gotten any better.  Still have Nausea, Extreme Muscle Weakness in my legs but now has spread to were I have pains in my legs, arms, back, neck, shoulders, and buttock.  Sometimes these feel weak other times they are tight and burning.  I wake up several times during the night because I'm sore all over.  I'm also still having a hard time eating and losing weight.
Day 40 - Took all STD tests again and all came back negative.
Day 45 - Have rectal itching.  I keep asking all my Dr.'s if I have diarreah, but they say no.  I think it is because it is not like it use to be.  I have this every day and is always soft and has been like this for the entire time.
Day 51 - Went to see a Dr.  Still have all the same issues but now with the dry tounge and the burning sensation stated I have thrush.  Taken NYSTATIN.

Symtoms fo the ARS might last a week or so.  they would not last as long as your symptoms have.

No, peope can acquire HIV without symptoms.  Te ARS occurs in less than half of people who get HIV, even in retrospect.

The nystatin should work in a few days.  Take it the way your doctor directed.  We call the treatment "swish and swallow".  It sounds like you are taking it correctly.

No further questions please.  No need to start a new thread when you get a negative result, just add it to this thread.  EWH

I'm glad you did not delete my post and thak you for taking the time and effort to respond.  I was aware it may have come on to soon but I have a couple of other questions and I consider it not a "what if" but more of a question then in general.

I know that any symptoms would have started between 2 - 4 weeks.  What is the longest any symptom from HIV would last before seroconversion?  I'm asuming that it wouln't last as long as mine has.

Does everyone go through seroconversion before symptoms begin again?

With regards to Oral Thrush - How should you take Nystatin Oral Liquid?  I hold it in my mouth for several minutes, I don't mind the taste?  How long should it take to clear up?

Again, I thank you for your thoughts and not deleting my results.  This will be the last post as I trust your assesment.  The only other reason I would post is if I go and get another test to show it came back negative.

I considered deleting your post because there is really little reason to even consider HIV or STDs as part of your problems and readers will learn little of use from reading either your questions or my answers.  I have re-considered and will briefly answer your question.  Before I do however, I wanted to let you know that I also will not allow a lot of back and forth "what if" questions following this reply.  Now on to your situation:

You are at no risk for HIV and do not have other STDs.  Your problems listed below the description of your exposure are due to something other than HIV or STD. the reasons I say this are:
1.  Most CSWs, including those in Barcelona do not have HIV.
2.  Even without protection, HIV transmission is a rare event, occurring only once in every 1000 unprotected vaginal sexual exposures to infected partners.  You were protected and condoms work.  The description you provide of condom use is a perfect example of how to minimize risk for HIV and other STDs.
3.  Your symptoms started too soon to be related to HIV or STDs.  These do not occur 1 or even 2 days after sex.
4.  You have been tested for STDs and have been negative twice.  I don't know if you were also tested for HIV or not - if you weren't the tests would have been negative.

Two other observations:
1.  You have thrush because you have taken antibiotics, not because of HIV.
2.  Your post suggests you are very anxious about this exposure.  While I understand it, this is not necessary.  You have been seen repeatedly by health care providers who have told you that all is OK.  It is time to believe them and move on with your life.  If you cannot do this and remain fixated on this exposure, I urge you to seek professional counseling help to assist you in doing so.  I say this out of concern for you, nothing else.  I hope this helps.  EWH
