Again Very anxious.

Dear Doctors,

As you can see in my earlier treads. I'm a very anxious guy and i have a new question. after my last interaction with Dr. Hook i put my mind a rest an talked to my doctor and put my mind at rest regarding hiv. I did not thate a test. But now something new happend.

Last monday my wife and i went for dinner in a japanese restaurant with raw fish. And the next morning she had a rash on her trunk and back and belly. She went to the doctor and he told her it was probabely an allergic reation to raw fish or something.

I immediately paniced and fear it could be the ARS rash. Because we had 3 weeks ago unproteced intercourse but i finished inside a condom because my wife isn't on birth control anymore.

Now 2 days later the rash is almost gone but not yet fully. Could this be the ars rash? Ik now that i'm asking a very crazy question maybe. But after 7 years of unproteced sex with my wife and now for the first time a came in a condom it would be unrealistic to transmit a possible hiv infection. She has no sore throat and no fever, just the rash.

With my pn symptoms i told you in my last question it is still the same. My left foot tickels sometimes and then its gone. Than a few days later it comes back on my left foot. But never my both feet. I think it is just anxiety, my doctor also said it.

Dear doctors can you please share with me your thoughts on the rash from my wife please. I'm so anxious and scared and only you can put my mind at rest.

Kind regards,

Welcome back to the Forum.  I'm sorry you continue to have these unwarranted fears about HIV.  As I understand it you are in a mutually monogamous relationship with your wife.  As we discussed previously, your chlamydial infection a decade ago is of no relevance and there is no reasonable reason for you to have HIV.  It is quite possible that your wife's rash was a seafood allergy.  Certainly nothing you describe suggests that her rash was the ARS.  I would not worry that that might be the case.

I would however suggest that you seek counseling to help you understand the basis for your unwarranted concerns about HIV and to help you determine a way to address them.  EWH

Thank you so much for your answer doctor.

I was out of the country for my work, that is why my reaction is a few days late.

Dear doctor, my wifes rash was thursdayevening, 2 days after the beginning almost gone. She had a few pimples until sunday and then it was fully gone.

So i will follow your advice and assume it was just seafood allergy and not the ARS rash.

As for my pn symptoms, they come and go?. Than they are gone for a few days. Then they come back.I suppose it is all in my head.
I followed your advice and i'm going to talk to someone to adress my fears.

Kind regards
