Alternative to Heart Valve replacement surgery

My father had undergone a Bypass surgery in 2004 which had an adverse effect on his kidney thereby his creatinine going up. However gradually the creatinine has become stable and now it remains in the range of 4.5 -5.
Also since 2008, my father was detected with AVN (Avascular Necrosis) due to which his hip joint has collapsed.
We had planned a surgery for Hip joint replacement, however before the surgery, the 2D Echo report mentioned that he has severe calcific aortic stenosis and because of which the surgery had to be cancelled as per the doctor’s advice. Also LVEF is 20%. The cardiologist advised for a Heart valve replacement surgery. But looking at the patient’s body condition, it was further advised that any form of surgery can be brutal to the patient.
We would request you to kindly guide us with an alternative to surgery to cure AVN as well as calcific aortic stenosis.
You can contact me on 9870148356 or ***@****. I can provide the complete details of the tests/reports.
Looking forward for a positive response.

I cannot comment on the orthopedic issues, but about the aortic valve replacement there are some percutaneous approaches to replace the aortic valve. First one needs to ***** his surgical risk. I would suggest the opinion of a high volume center such as ours in doing this, a place where high risk patients are usually operated on with few complications. If at such a place he is deemed to be a very high surgical risk then one can start thinking about percutaneous aortic valve replacement. Understand that at this moment this is only available as a part of a research study in in very large centers for compassionate use in very symptomatic patients, and carries significant morbidity and mortality.
