Chest pain after weight lifting which stays 2-3 days

Hello All,

I have this problem about chest pain which is going on since 2005. I am 33 years male and have no any other medical problem. My blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure are normal. Blood pressure is usually 120/80. I have been to several doctors while in pain, ran to emergency for at least 5 times since 2005. Numberious EKG, stress test. Initially I was treated as stress patient but I done think that was correct. So I start noticing when my pain starts. Finally, i can say after wight lifting I have a pain.  If run and hit 170 heartbeat or stay beetwen 130 to 170 range for 30 minutes I don't have any problem, no pain at all. I also had nuclear test at cardiologist which cardiologist says very normal and negative. So my primary doctore and cardologist and several other doctor said there is no heart related problem. One time after weight lifting, I had pain and call ambulance but doctor discharge saying not any life threading problem as it is not heart attack or heart related pain. But I was still in a pain. But if do weight lifting or let's 15 lbs dumbbell for a while then I start having a pain which then stay for couple of days. Also, never have a problem with breathing or feeling like short breath. Can anyone explain why this pain comes when I do weight lifting and not any other activity. Which specialist doctor I should go or what kind of test I should have? Oh also, when pain occurs my back also in pain and pain around end of rib cage under left side or pain one inch above my left nipple.

I am rally get nervous and frustrated when pain occurs as no medicine like alive or Morton helps me. My doctor is like don't lift weight but I am like I am just 34.

Thanks to reply and your answer is also same as my primary doctor and cardiologist. I never used to much excersice, but just to defeat the fear, I started running. Initially I was only able to run 3.5 miles per hour for less than 20 minutes. But now I can run 45 minutes on the pace 4 and after every 7-9 minutes run 2-3 minutes on speed of 5.7 mile per hour without problem. Now, I want to do lifting excersice too but every time I try I get pain.  But I think I will talk with my primary doctor to refer to physicio therapist to train my self to do some weight lifting. I have yearly medical check up in a week and I will discuss again with my doctor. By the way, I also gets a uneven heart bits signal on my blood pressure monitoring. My primary doctor says not to worry about it. Would you please provide any of your thought on that and educate me, so hat I don't get depressed with that. Thanks for proving an answer.

Chest pain can be from a variety of pathologies including heart problems, lung problems, food pipe related problems as well as chest wall problems.
It is very hard to provide a diagnosis without evaluating a patient in person, but generally speaking a pain that gets exacerbated by weight lifting especially in the setting of a normal stress test would likely represent a chest wall pain rather than a cardiac pain. It is corroborated by the fact that you do not develop any pain when you do aerobic exercise like running.
It might be worthwhile getting re-evaluated by a cardiologist in order to ensure that there is nothing wrong with the heart. If that is indeed the case, it might be worthwhile to seek help of physical therapist in order to receive instruction on a technique of lifting weights that does not lead to chest discomfort.
