my pulmonary pressure is at rest,(37) taken with a ecocardiogram , my leaking valve's,are from having rheumatic fever as a child.and are being kept under control with med's for high blood pressure.Aortic valve, mitral valve and tricuspid valve are all leaking, and now l'm told l have COAD.l do not have hypercoagulable disorder as l have been tested.but have had PE's and TIA's.
I'm sorry to hear you are having some difficulty. If you are having TIAs and PEs, hopefully you have been worked up for a hypercoagulable disorder. I am not sure if your pulmonary pressure is your peak systolic pressure or your mean pressure, so I can't speak to the severity of it. I also can't tell the location or severity of your leaking heart valves. If you are unhappy with your cardiologist, I encourage you to seek a second opinion. Hope this helps!
