rarity

Have a single coronary artery (right)  the LAD  and  LCX   both arise out of the right coronary artery....The LAD does return to the left going between the aorta and the pulmonary arteries....Lucky for me the LAD  is deformed and not even close to being the size it should be so it is not being squashed ..... I have only been able to find one other person  that has this exact variation as me  ....I would like to know if any of the doctors know the rarity of this.....I am doing very well on medication  so I have no complaints...Just  wondering

Anomalous coronary arteries (which include a number of different variations) are rare in the general population -- and cited in some studies as low as ~1%. Here is the citation for an article in Circulation describing the rarity of the different variations of coronary anomalies.
