I quit taking that stuff when I began treatment in 2014. I don't miss it. I do other things for nausea. I just stopped it cold turkey and didn't have any effects. I'm glad I did that. I still have nausea from time to time but I manage it. Downing a whole bottle of Natural spring mineral water with bubbles has worked for me lately. I drink the good stuff. No cheap treated water for me.
Well, I've been totally free of it for a week now and no problems. I went from 40 to 20, waited a week and then went to nada. I ordered a case of Pellegrino on the 1st and believe it helps, but overall I've really had no gas. However, I did start a course of Xifaxan at the same time. So perhaps the Xifaxan killed off the bad bacteria that was creating the original gas and nausea.

One does have to be careful what pills are ingested, especially those who's liver's are compromised.
