It's likely from the ribavirin, not the Harvoni.
When on interferon/ribavirin in 2003 and peginterferon/ribavirin in 2012, I had the same dry skin with little spots. It continued for months after treatment ended, but was less frequent and less severe after awhile and then went away completely.
It's back now though. I'm currently on treatment without interferon but with MK-3982B plus ribavirin, and my only side effect so far is dry, itchy skin and a rash. Overall I feel much better than when I was on the previous treatments.
I developed what looks like pimples during and post treatment with Harvoni. Little white bumps or sometimes bulges. I have been treating with an acne med that seems to help. Weird thing is, I had never had a problem with my skin before and mercifully, never had acne as a teenager. For the dryness, I use a mild face lotion, made locally with all natural ingredients. At night, I do the acne cream. Hoping this goes away eventually but I think it is a reaction to the drugs and that one's skin is purging the toxins
Have you been tested for lupus? Just what you said about the butterfly pattern in the middle of your face. Regular washing with water will help your skin, soap will dry it out more-try not to use too much stuff on your skin and eat healthily.
