Hi here is the post tx. You could cut and paste your question there.
I know that many people who treated back then are no longer here but may be on the Post tx forum or they at least check in. My heart just breaks for you. I remember thinking that HCV tx was the worst thing I would go through, then I had to do it a second time. I was wrong. The are no longer producing Incivek in the US. They say it is because newer better drugs are available but I do wonder sometimes if that is the real reason. They still product Worldwide, just not the US

Those stats are unbelievable.....287 man-made chemicals??? Horrifying. Yup, sometimes we have to weigh the risks of treatment to the benefits.
As harsh as chemo is, there are better drugs now to help with side effects. Like you, I didn't see any other way to deal with breast cancer than doing that treatment. I am thrilled that you are doing well and wish you continued good health.
Dear Dee I am so sorry to hear about this. I treated with Incivek, finished in 2012. I barely made it through. With the support of this forum, my husband and Aunt I did.
I am sorry to hear you have breast cancer. It seems so unfair.
There is a post tx forum you could post your question there, you might hear from others who treated with Incivek.
Hey Mom, wow, that must have been a terrifying experience for you. I hope your daughters are doing well now and on their way to kicking cancer's ***
A friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was only 36 years old! She is featured in a movie by Sean Penn, called The Human Experiment that focuses on the relation between cancers and the bazillion chemicals in our environment:

Even the tree-hugging, local, sustainable, never use any chemicals in my house Ever and don't put that in plastic please cuz I brought my own Mason Jar types, even We are exposed to chemicals every single day. In fact, a baby born in the US has 287 manmade chemicals in their bodies from Day 1

But, with treatment decisions, we are making a choice to undergo these harsh treatments or suffer the alternative
So I am going with the western science on this one and hoping that in the future we can make these life saving treatments not so harsh and not so toxic
Please keep us posted Dee. We really are there for you
I was only to tolerate the incivik treatment (with interferon and riba) for just under 3 months before decompensating and was made to quit. I was undetectable after one month, but the virus came back after 3. I was diagnosed with liver cancer about a year and 1/2 later..
Now post transplant and after 6 months of O/S am still undetectable after 3 months..
My liver was in poor shape, and one of the end effects of that is cancer.. so not convinced incivik was the cause, but I can tell you it did not help my body at all and I wish I could go back and have a "do over" on that one. :-)
I did have some chemo prior to the transplant, and I can tell you, the incivik was worse in my book!
Oh, for Pete's sake. I refreshed at least 3 times and now the first post appears two hours after the first one??? I give up.
