1st Lab Results -Mystery

I completed week 1 - and received my 1st lab results.  I do not have a clue what they mean.  There are only 3 items out of range - ALT 56 H, Platelet Count 136 Land Absolute Monocytes 148 L.  WHen it was discovered that my levels were elevated during a routine exam my alt was 171 and AST 116.  This test does not have AST - Is it called something else?  Does a lower alt mean that it is working?  Any explanation you can give will be appreciated.  Thanks

It's definately a good sign. Looks like they dropped quite a bit, good job!

They only way to know if it is "working" is with a PCR DNA test that measures the viral load but any time your AST/ALT levels are heading towards normal, it's a good thing.

Hope you are feeling ok!

AST is also called SGOT on some lab results.

No, it is not the same as absolute monocytes.
