I was already taking NAC on the advice of HepatitisResearcher because of occupational exposure to solvents. I was referred to the neurologist because nobody could figure out why my toes were going numb. Turns out I'm diabetic. Duh. Also B vit. deficient. Kadir decided the CerefolinNAC was a good alternative to sublingual B12 + my normal dose of NAC.

Still procrastinating the bx, thank you for asking.

I'm overworked and underpaid. And yeah, I've been following your re-tx startup. Any day now.

So tell me, what are you taking this drug for -- at least, it sounds like you are taking it.?  Are you taking it to de-tox the liver?  When did you have your last biopsy?

And, how are you, by the way.  I am about to get started on the triple tx.

It now makes more sense to me that CerefolinNAC would help dementia patients. If n-acetylcysteine can help the liver heal/de-tox, it probably helps regulate  the overproduction of this protein beta amyloid.
Just thankful Doc Kadir is a top notch neuro' who's way ahead of the curve with stuff like this and willing to Rx 'off label'. He swears he's not txing me for dementia.
Really.

Eric

That is an intersting twist.  I wonder how the inflammation from Hep C impacts all of this.  I suppose there will be a study some day.
