Did you guys read the Health Page report on Splenda?

I Googled Splenda today and was amazed at what I saw, so I checked this web site to see what they said. It looks like that stuff would be VERY BAD for people in tx to use. Now I have to check out aspartame... seems like I heard something before but can't remember what it was. Does anybody know any facts about this stuff hurting our livers?

My doc told me on treatment to use real sugar - I didn't really ask him why since it was one of the first things he told me and I figured using natural products rather than synthetic stuff made sense.

I guess it does make sense after all.

I have been avoiding aspartame like the pest.... for years... IMO it is pure poison...
Others might think differently, but that is what I personally believe.

Whenever anything reads sugar free, I read the ingredients very thoroughly. If I don't have my glasses with me to read all that fine print, I don't buy it.

Now they have started using xylitol, or even stevia in many things, which I find reassuring.

But don't be tricked. I've seen some chewing gum which said 'with xylitol', only to later find out that it also had aspartame.

Here's a link that I found on this web site: http://www.medhelp.org/tags/health_page/32718/complementary-medicine/New-Study-of-Splenda-Reveals-Shocking-Information-About-Potential-Harmful-Effects-?hp_id=652

I also Googled it and found some reports written by Chemists and Bio Chemists . I'll try to find them again so you can read it for yourself, but the above article mentions how Splenda can inhibit chemo-therapy from being absorbed which we definitely should look at.
