One Year.....

Hello My Friends,

Hope everyone is doing well. Just got back my one yr...still SVR. I have to admit I was really scared. I am pretty much back to my old self (if that is ever possible after tx). Joint still ache and didn;t put back all my weight but thats ok. Just hearing its still GONE was wonderful. I went thru a period where I was constantly tired and thats what made me think it might be back, Guess its just AGE!! I think of all of you often. Having had HEP C and went thru tx has made me appreciate every day no matter what. I wish you all SVR.    Merlino

PS Girls are doing well!!

(((((( Deb ))))))

is it ok to hug here??
It was sooooo good to see your posting.  You gave me such strength and encouragement while I was on TX.  Here I am, 5 months post, have my final (?) testing in 1 month.  I'm feeling a lot better, friggin' rash is FINALLY gone!!  My brain seems to be returning, my daughter told me I'm using "big" words again!!!  With a final weight loss of 105 pounds, I've put on 12 of them since Sept., and am happily shopping for size 8 - 10 jeans......yehaw!!
I must come back here more often, just kinda felt I needed a break from it all, ya know?

Love Ya,
Shannon

Deb,

Hey, so nice to hear form you! How are the kids? Can't believe how quickly time goes by, 2yrs for you!!! I will call you soon- we need to catch up.

Flguy, always happy to hear from you. My oldest moved to Phila. which I am still adjusting to. Girls seem to always think they are older then they are!!  The 18 yr old went back to school. What a relief!! She is really trying to get it together, one day at a time.

Mike/jmjm - nice to hear from you both. Mike 4.5 yrs - NICE!!

HEY DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike just PM'd me to show me you posted what a great fantastic wonderful surprise!!!!!!!!!!

Just to think back to all the times we talked on the phone when you were so worried you wouldn't make it and now already one year gone by! God it's just so hard to believe it's been that long!

Of course..........the great news being SVR (which means you'll always be cause it IS gone)!  I can't believe my two year date is in four days I keep forgetting!

Oh boy of course somebody came over while I'm sitting here typing away frantically!  ;)

Well I love you my friend - I am SO GLAD that it turned out 100% in your favor this time, it's about time something went right for us isn't it?  You EARNED this the hard way my friend - as difficult a time as you had you never gave up (and you had it tough)...the best things in life sometimes aren't free and I am SO GLAD you got it  :)     :)   :)

Love Deb

Good to hear from you with the good news, especially the P.S.  As Mike suggests, don't be a stranger.  Things around my world are good, a kid off to college and a teen daughter who thinks she's older than she really is.  Take care.

Thanks for sharing your news with us. Yes, there always is a little anxiety about test results. I am almost over it and it's been 4.5 years for me.
Stay well and pop in more often.
