Tonite, there was a celebrity show featuring Pam Anderson. After speaking about her career, it was mentioned that she had Hep C. They had a doctor on who was asked how you get it. He said, "blood products, blood transfusions, IVDU, tattoo needles and...here it comes...."having sex." The rest was about eating organically and milk thistle...nothing about tx.
This is almost word for word.
Isn't that something?...too bad they didn't have Dr. Dietrich on instead of that bozo, It could have been a perfect op to share alot of much needed info for the public.

What a knuckle head she is. It is so terribly annoying to hear something like that! Obviously she doesn't have much brains.
Pam is an asshat who I heard on an interview on television (I thought it was Larry King but might be remembering incorrectly by now) say that her hepc was doing fine she watches her viral load carefully and so she's just fine and dandy and does not need to do treatment because it's so nice and normal.

Another article states she's still drinking, partying! Her doc sounds like one just milking her for the bucks! Her comments in many articles are just stupid, for someone that can get all the best, ya' know? But very damaging to public knowledge!
I love avocado's, but didn't think they'd cure me, lol!
She could tx with a maid, a nurse, a nanny, a driver and so on.....thinking vanity is a part of her not?!

No need to be sorry, Laurie....the above article (though written in 2003) is very well written with plenty of good (somewhat scary) info. I did bookmark it to finish reading tomorrow.
