It's her wedding, she's wearing the boots, it should be her decision.
That's a hard one. I would go with which ever one complemented the dress and her skin tone.
Should add for what its worth i also agree with you daughter, white boots are so yesterday.......
This is her special day. Let her make her own choice. It won't matter in the long run either way, but if you dig in those spurs too deep, you might regret it. Have fun and enjoy the wedding. And congrats.
I keep trying to child-proof the house, but the kids keep coming back. :o))

Yeah and changing the locks don't seem to help, i did find that anytime your talking to them telling them how much work around here that needs to be done seems to work wonders...:)
Maybe I should rephrase this a little. Were not actually"arguing".Im ok with either she chooses since it is "her" wedding. She was partial to the tan then said how bout white? The tan ones that she likes are less expensive so thats a "PLUS" for me!!!Women-sheesh.....
hahah I say white assuming her dress is white ...now if she is wearing a brown dress then I say brown ..
sorry.... Eyes. I saw this on the side bar and thought it was a public journal now I see its your social ...
White with white is gauche. Tan with white is Texas traditional.
Take it from me, if she's wearing spurs with those boots, tell her not to kneel down. Yowzers.
Oh, and pink Ariat Fatbaby. :)
You know, in some countries, 'all white' is reserved for funerals.
Hey, even folks born in the 60s are voting for tan ;).
Tan is much more 2012.
Let tan rule and make your daughter happy!!
The boots should match the saddle bags. Everyone knows that!
Cin I'd love to add an opinion but I am NY born and bred Italian American, whadda we New Yawkas know bout that sorta stuff? Nada, zippo and zilch.
But what I'd say is get something you can wear again, I just dont see her ever wearing white cowboy boots out at a later date and it's not like a dress you are going to put in storage the tan could be worn again.
Anyways, that's my take on it!
Ok we thought about that too.Yeah shell always be able to wear them again(whether it be for cleaning her horse stall,or muddin or just kick around boots)But she says now if she finds a white boot that she likes ,she can always have them dyed.Whatever she decides -its all good!!!!Cant wait to see the looks on faces when the pigs race-a bride and a groom LOL !!!!!Its definatly gonna be a show stopper,Got her dress today and now Ive gotta go wait in the free cheeze and milk line for weeks !!!!!
I say what ever she wants. Life is to short to argue about the color of boots. I hope she has a blessed Wedding day and that her marriage last longer than a pair of cowboy boot.
Brown. Cow pies won't show.
I'm going with brown so the cow pie smears don't show.
Your sense of humor is just hilarious!!!!! cindy
I didnt think of that!!!Only you......
Err...It depends on the boots...If they are in the Ropers, Frye or Tony Lama range then white (or bone) is OK. It's not like she'll wear them again (or very often). But if we are talking Boots like Lucchese or Old Gringo I would support her color choice. There is some incredible craftsmanship out there and the color (no matter what she decides) will flatter her dress & the entire ensemble.
