I'm doing a jig!

Just a quick note to tell all you poor souls that are txing right now, there is life after treatment!!! I'm at week #3 since finishing and I'm feeling great!!! My energy level is climbing, my thyroid instability is settling, and the brain fog is nearly gone! No aches or fatigue either!  I just had labs done, and am eager to see what they say...hang in there everybody! I've got my eye on that coveted 6 month SVR PCR now!!! :) Whoo hoo! I wave my hep C dragon killing sword in salute and utter a Howard Dean-like girlie scream for all to hear! Yeaaaghhh!!!LOL                        ~Melinda

Wow, what excellent news!!!  Amazing how a little hgb makes the world go 'round!  :-)

Hope you continue feeling better and better, although it sounds like you're already at 100%!

pK

PS  Will you have a 3-month post-tx VL??

Congratulations!  Your labs are coming back and it is great!  Keep dancing, you are the dancing queen!  I never heard of a physical agility test but I do know this, after enduring tx and sx's including physical and mental hell you can conquer anything now :-)

If you haven't seen it yet, by all means go see Mama Mia, it's really good.

Isn't it great?!? I just got my labs back...My neutrophils are still a bit low, but my hemoglobin has come up from 9.1 to 11.1 in 2 1/2 weeks!!!! No wonder I feel great! I haven't seen those kind of numbers since last April! Now to pass a physical agility test so I can get back to work...(This should be interesting....) :0            ~Melinda

I'm really happy for you!  It's really great to hear from someone who's made it thru tx, maybe not unscathed, but getting much better every day and moving onward.  You give me hope, so I'm sure you give other's who haven't tx'ed yet as well.  God Bless

Thank you so much for that fantastic update. This is just what I needed to hear as I sit here with insomnia wishing the time away until I can have my life back. It’s always good to hear some reassurance that life can return to normal after tx.

Best of luck with your SVR.
